Cornwall Regional Airport

The Cornwall Regional Airport is located 10 kilometres east of the City of Cornwall near Summerstown and is open year-round.

Facilities include: 

  • A 3,500-foot by 100-foot runway.
  • A terminal, an airport commission hangar and general aviation hanger lots and parking sites. 
  • Canada Customs Service (non-commercial, call 1-888-226-7277 for more info).
  • 100 LL avgas, as well as all grades of aviation oil are available. Fuel is available through a 24-hour self-serve card lock system.

The airport is licensed for day and night VFR and IFR operations. UNICOM and ARCAL is on 122.775. Detailed aviation information is available in the Canadian Flight Supplement.

Cornwall Aviation operates a flight training school and an aircraft maintenance facility approved by Transport Canada at the Cornwall Regional Airport. Ottawa Aviation Services operates a private aircraft maintenance facility.

Directions
The Cornwall Regional Airport is located at 19407 Airport Road in South Glengarry Township. Airport Road runs east off Summerstown Road South off Exit 804 on Highway 401.

Other regional airports in the Cornwall vicinity are located in Massena, N.Y. International airports are located in Ottawa and Montreal.

Lancaster Airpark

Lancaster Airpark is a unique and friendly airport located close to the Quebec border on Highway 2 in Bainsville, Ontario. 

Facilities include:
  • 2,400 ft by 80 ft grass runway - details available in the Canadian Flight Supplement
  • Outdoor parking and tie downs are currently available and the construction of the 5 bay "T" hanger will be completed in the spring of 2016.
  • Mo Gas is currently available with 100 LL avgas planned for the summer of 2016.
Lancaster Aero Club - COPA Flt 190 is based at Lancaster and has plans to start building a Clubhouse during the 2015 season. The club meets once a month on the third Saturday of the month at 10:00 am. Everyone is invited to attend. Visit www.lancasteraeroclub.ca for details.

Open to the public, Lancaster Airpark offers everyone the opportunity to find out what flying is all about. Talk to pilots, check out airplanes and participate in all of the Lancaster Aero Club social events!
