The Township has completed  a review of the use of Skating Trainers (for youth) and Skating Aids (for adults and seniors) during public skating.  We are pleased to advise that we will allow the Skating Aid(s) to be used on with the condition that the user wear a CSA Approved Skating Helmet.  The Township contacted the Ontario Recreation Facilities Association and our Insurance Carrier to follow up on the use of an Adult Skating Aid and have received their comments and recommendations.  We will ...

Snowshoe raceSummerstown – The 4th Annual Summerstown Forest Dion Snowshoe Race was held on Saturday, February 11, and the few centimetres of snow that fell the night before the race made a huge difference for the runners. recycle treeChristmas trees will be collected for a 3 week period beginning January 3, 2017 until January 24, 2017. Please place your Christmas tree at the roadside with all decorations removed.  Trees will not be collected by the garbage contractor, they will be collected by our Roads Crew.
