South Glengarry residents have access to a variety of indoor recreation spaces.

The Township of South Glengarry has several other recreational facilities available to rent. Residents also have access to two facilities located in the adjacent municipalities of Cornwall and North Glengarry. Below you will find a list of centres as well as the contact information for reservations:
The Cornwall Aquatic Centre is a new, high quality facility that features a 25 meter by six lane pool and an adjacent toddler leisure pool. Other amenities include a large water slide, on-deck whirlpool, viewing area and family change rooms. The Aquatic Centre is located in Lamoureux Park on Water Street, with a stunning view out its large windows of the St. Lawrence River. It was built as an addition to the Cornwall Civic Complex, which features a 5,000 seat arena/ exhibition hall. Residents from South Glengarry pay the same fees as residents of Cornwall for use of this indoor pool. The Cornwall Aquatic Centre can be easily accessed by most residents of South Glengarry via County Road 2. The pool can be rented for parties or other private rentals. The Glengarry Sports Palace is located in Alexandria. This complex features an indoor arena with seating for 500 spectators, a banquet hall (capacity 440), meeting facilities and outdoor sports fields. Please call 613-525-3600 for availability and rental rates
The Green Valley Community Centre, located at 4159 MacKinnon Street, is equipped with a full kitchen and has a capacity of 150. Contact Alain at 613-525-1838 for availability and rental rates.
The Jack Danaher Park Hall, located at 21491 MacCuaig Dr. in Bainsville, has a capacity of 100 with a small kitchen area, multi-purpose room, two washrooms and a canteen. During the winter months the hall is primarily used to support the programming of the adjacent outdoor rink. Contact Charlie at 613-347-2554 for rental rates and availability.
The Lan Char Centre is located at 20 Victoria Street in Lancaster. The Glengarry Outreach Seniors' Services offer a variety of weekly activities. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. For more information call 613-347-1175.
The North Lancaster Optimist Hall is Township-owned and operated by the North Lancaster Optimist Club. this small (2,025 square foot) community centre is attached to the back of the Township Roads Department storage facility. Hall capacity is limited and there is a small kitchen. This hall has limited use.There is a large (810 square foot) deck along the back wall of Optimist Hall, which overlooks North Lancaster Optimist Park. This facility is ideal for a small gathering in a quiet country setting. Contact Pierre at 613-347-7677 for reservations.
