Property & Water Tax Information

Due dates for the taxes will be the last working day of March and May for the Interim Taxes; and August and October for the Final Taxes.

Supplementary Taxes will be due as the assessments are received; however, they will not be due any earlier than August 31st. These assessments can be backdated and are billed as such.

Payment options for taxes include the following:

  • By cheque, money order, or cash at the Township Office;
  • By post-dated cheque or money order in the mail;
  • Bank by internet or bank by phone payments; 
    • Property Tax: Search for South Glen to add the Township of South Glengarry as a biller on your bank site and the first 15 numbers of your roll number. 
    • Water Bill: Search for South Glen to add the Township of South Glengarry as a biller on your bank site and the middle 6 numbers of your water account. In some cases the letter A is required. 
  • In person, at most financial institutions;
  • Automatic debit from your bank account (requires registration with the Municipal Office) see Downloadable Forms below.

Please note that we do not accept debit or credit cards.
