2022 Municipal Election - October 24, 2022
Information for Candidates
You can file your nomination beginning May 2, 2022 at 8:30 am until August 19, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
To run for a position on Council you must be eligible to vote in the Township of South Glengarry. On the day you file your nomination, you must be a Canadian citizen aged 18 or older and qualify as a resident of non-resident elector.
To file your nomination, you must provide the following to the municipal Clerk:
- A completed nomination form (Form 1)
- Completed endorsement of nomination forms (Form 2) *If your browser does not support the form format or you are unable to download, please contact the Clerk for assistance at kcampeau@southglengarry.com or 613-347-1166 ext. 2102.
- The nomination fee ($200 for the office of Mayor, $100 for all other offices)
- Proof of identity
