Maintaining the Peanut Line

SOUTH GLENGARRY, ON – In response to concerns over the past few days about activity taking place on the Peanut Line, the Township of South Glengarry would like to clarify and acknowledge the work that is being completed.

 Regular maintenance, brushing and the removal of dead or overhanging trees, including trees that are impeding the travelled portion of the trail have been cleared. Vegetation removal is now complete; however, ongoing maintenance will continue throughout the summer to remediate the trail surface and ensure safety of all users.
