Notice of Public (Virtual) Consultation Meeting Through South Nation Conservation Authority

The United Counties of SDG have partnered with South Nation Conservation (SNC) to complete a Natural Heritage Systems (NHS) study in Eastern Ontario.

An NHS is a network of interconnected natural features such as forests, rivers, wetlands, and agricultural lands.

SNC has developed bilingual online public engagement tools available at https://www.nation.on.ca/nhs to support the NHS study and consultation sessions, including:

Draft Natural Heritage System and public land maps

Interactive story map to help explain the project

Smartphone application to report keystone wildlife sightings, like moose
