Warning in effect until March 31, 2021

The Raisin Region Conservation Authority (RRCA) is issuing a Flood Outlook Statement for the RRCA jurisdiction.

Water levels in the local rivers and streams are currently high from the spring thaw. The current short-term forecast is indicating daytime high temperatures in the double digits, with approximately 40 mm of rain over the next 5-days. There is also the chance of thunderstorms on Friday, which could see high localized precipitation.

The ongoing melt, coupled with rainfall, will increase water levels and flows over the weekend and into next week. This may result in flooding in low-lying areas.
