Peanut Line Trail Project
Peanut Line Trail Options Analysis
The Township of South Glengarry is undergoing a Peanut Line Trail Options Analysis project. The purpose of the project is to provide the Township with options that outline long and short term direction for the Peanut Line Trail. The Township has hired WSP Canada Inc. to prepare the options through consultation and best practices.
The project will include a variety of consultation methods
Consultations that have already taken place:
- Virtual Public Consultation took place on Wednesday, May 17 at 7:00 p.m. The intent of the session was to gather information from the public which will aid in the overall future of the Peanut Line Trail.
- *Please note that if you are an adjacent landowner to the Peanut Line, you would have received further information via mail.
- Online survey took place from May 25 to June 15.
- In Person Consultation Sessions took place at the Char-Lan Recreation Centre in Tartan Hall on Thursday, July 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Two sessions took place: Adjacent Landowners and Stakeholders. See attached the presentation boards that were provided during these sessions: Presentation Boards

- Initial Public Consultation – May
- Continuous consultation with stakeholders – Ongoing
- Interim Report Presented to Council – August
- Final Options Analysis Presented to Council – November
- Finalizing Document – November/December
