Inspections

Building inspections are required at several stages of construction to confirm the work meets the Ontario Building Code and the approved permit drawings.

The standard inspections associated with your project are included in your building permit fee. If an additional or repeat inspection is required, extra fees may apply.

Your building permit will list the inspections required for your project.

You do not need to be present for the inspection, provided the inspector has safe access to the area being reviewed. To schedule an inspection, complete the form below and indicate your preferred date and time slot.

If your permit application was submitted through Cloudpermit, you can also request inspections directly through the Cloudpermit portal.
