What is a Strategic Plan?

A municipal Strategic Plan is a guiding document that outlines local government's vision, priorities, and goals over a set period of time. It serves as a roadmap for making decisions, allocating resources and delivering services that enhance the quality of life for residents. 

After conducting interviews, surveys, and gathering data council established our vision, mission and priorities, each accompanied by actionable steps for staff to pursue during the 2024–2026 period. These strategies outline a comprehensive vision for the Township.

Service Delivery and Process Review

In 2022, the Township received funding through the Municipal Modernization Program (Intake 3) to complete a Service Delivery and Process Review.

This review looked at:

• The services the Township provides

• How those services are delivered

• The quality and efficiency of service delivery

The findings and recommendations from the review will help Council and staff with future strategic planning.
