Cairn Island Interpretation Site Project

Join us for a public consultation session on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in Tartan Hall (Char-Lan Recreation Centre).  

The session will begin with a presentation regarding the sacred historical connection of Cairn Island to the Mohawks of Akwesasne. Following the presentation, attendees can participate in a Q&A and share stories about the island and its significance to South Glengarry. Your input will help inform interpretation site options to be enjoyed by all.
