The Township’s Large Item Collection is taking place the week of May 25 on your regular collection day.

Now’s a good time to start setting items aside and planning ahead.

Before placing anything curbside, make sure to review what’s accepted and the collection guidelines.

U12 Ball Hockey – We Want Your Input

We’ve received strong interest in a U12 drop-in ball hockey program and are exploring the possibility of adding this division.

If your child is born in 2014 or 2015 and would be interested in participating, please take a moment to complete our short survey.

Important: This survey is only for parents/guardians of children born in 2014 or 2015.

Large Item Collection Week Coming May 25

South Glengarry residents are reminded that Large Item Collection Week will take place during the week of May 25, 2026.

Residents may place eligible large items curbside on their regular scheduled collection day during that week.

Important Reminders

  • Regular garbage limits still apply
  • Do not place items in garbage bags
  • All items must be placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day

Residents are encouraged to review accepted and prohibited items before collection week.
