Notice of Public Meeting - 18518 North Branch Road
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of South Glengarry will hold a public meeting on the 25th day of August 2025 at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers located at Tartan Hall in the Char-Lan Recreation Centre, 19740 John Street, Williamstown, to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to the Municipality's Zoning By-law under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., as amended, for the property legally described as Part of Lots 36 and 37, Concession 7, in the geographic Township of Charlottenburgh, now in the Township of South Glengarry, County of Glengarry, surrounding the lands located at 18518 North Branch Road.
Explanatory Note:
This is an amendment to Zoning By-law 38-09, which is the zoning by-law of the Township of South Glengarry. The purpose of this amendment is to rezone the subject property from Agricultural (AG) to Agricultural - Exception Thirty-Seven (AG-37) to reduce the minimum lot area from 20 hectares (49.42 acres) to 11.33 hectares (28 acres) and to prohibit residential construction. All other applicable provisions of Zoning By-law 38-09, as amended, shall continue to apply.
