TAKE NOTICE that an application has been made by Marco Ruggieri and Janet Swan (agent Matthew Linton) for a minor variance from the provisions of Zoning By-law 38-09 of the Township of South Glengarry, as amended, for the property legally described as Part of Lot 4, Concession 9, being Part 4 on Reference Plan 14R-6658, in the geographic Township of Lancaster, now in the Township of South Glengarry, County of Glengarry, located on Lakeside Drive for the following reasons:
THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE APPLICATION:
The owner proposes to construct a single detached dwelling, the proposed dwelling will encroach into the exterior side yard.
The following relief from the Zoning By-law 38-09 is requested:
Part 10.2 - the reduce the required exterior side yard setback from 15 meters to 10.3 meters to the north side of the proposed single detached dwelling.
The Committee of Adjustment will hold a public meeting on Monday, July 13th, 2026 at 6:15 pm for the purpose of a public hearing on this matter, to be held in the Council Chambers located at the Tartan Hall, Char-Lan Recreation Centre, 19740 John Street, Williamstown.
