Notice of Public Meeting - A-10-2026
TAKE NOTICE that an application has been made by Yves and France Parthenais for a minor variance from the provisions of Zoning By-Law 38-09 of the Township of South Glengarry, as amended, (being a by-law respecting the use of land and the use and location of buildings) for the property that is legally described as part of Lot 22, Concession 1 Front, being Part 1 on Reference Plan 14R4964, in the geographic Township of Charlottenburgh, now in the Township of South Glengarry, County of Glengarry, located at 18708 County Road 2 for the following reasons:
THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE APPLICATION:
The applicant proposes to build a shed on the subject lands within the 30 meter setback from a watercourse required by section 3.39 (7) (c) of Zoning By-Law 38-09.
The following relief from the Zoning By-law 38-09 is requested:
- Part 3.39(7)(c) - To reduce the required setback from the top of bank of a watercourse to the proposed shed from 30 meters down to 16.7 meters.
