Notice of Public Meeting - Minor Variance Application - A-14-2025 - Brunet
TAKE NOTICE that an application has been made by Raymond Brunet and Karen Brunet,
for a minor variance from the provisions of Zoning By-Law 38-09 of the Township of South
Glengarry, as amended, (being a by-law respecting the use of land and the use and
location of buildings) for the property that is legally described as Part of Lot 23,
Concession 1 Front, being Parts 2 to 4 on RP 14R6150, in the geographic township of
Charlottenburgh, now in the Township of South Glengarry, County of Glengarry, located
at 6857 Silmser Road. for the following reasons:
THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE APPLICATION:
A provisional consent was granted to enlarge an existing lot with no frontage. The lot
addition provides frontage, but it remains deficient under Zoning By-law 38-09.
The following relief from the Zoning By-Law 38-09 is requested:
6.2 – to reduce the Minimum Lot Frontage from 40m to 7.86m.
