Watersheds Canada and South Glengarry Complete Shoreline Restoration at Glen Walter Waterfront Park
The Township of South Glengarry is pleased to share the completion of a shoreline restoration project at Glen Walter Waterfront Park, undertaken in partnership with Watersheds Canada.
The project focused on improving the health and resilience of the shoreline along the St. Lawrence River. Restoration efforts will help reduce shoreline erosion, protect water quality and enhance habitat for local wildlife, while supporting the long-term health of this important waterfront area.
The project was made possible through funding from the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, along with the support of volunteers and project partners who contributed their time and expertise.
The Township thanks Watersheds Canada, project partners, volunteers and funders for their contributions to this important environmental initiative.
