The Township of South Glengarry marked the completion of two public works of art by hosting a mural unveiling event on Saturday, September 28th, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Lancaster. The event attracted over 200 community members and visitors wanting to view the historic murals installed along the Village’s main street and engage with the designers and artists behind the work.

The Council of the Township of South Glengarry will hold a public meeting on October 7, 2024 at 6:30 pm in Council Chambers located at Tartan Hall to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment. For more information about the proposed amendment, view the meeting agenda.

September 25, 2024 – Lancaster, ON - The Township of South Glengarry is pleased to announce that our Portraits of Our Past Mural Project was selected for My Main Street Community Activator stream support to engage famed Walldog Mural Artists to design and install two murals on Military Road that portray the history and early influences that shaped our community.
