Lancaster, Ontario, January 30, 2025 – The Township of South Glengarry is pleased to announce that the Building Ontario Fund has entered into an agreement with Arch Corporation to finance the previously announced new Long Term Care facility in Lancaster

Exciting News for South Glengarry!

The Township of South Glengarry marked the completion of two public works of art by hosting a mural unveiling event on Saturday, September 28th, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Lancaster. The event attracted over 200 community members and visitors wanting to view the historic murals installed along the Village’s main street and engage with the designers and artists behind the work.

September 25, 2024 – Lancaster, ON - The Township of South Glengarry is pleased to announce that our Portraits of Our Past Mural Project was selected for My Main Street Community Activator stream support to engage famed Walldog Mural Artists to design and install two murals on Military Road that portray the history and early influences that shaped our community.

South Glengarry, Ontario - September 23, 2024 – The Township of South Glengarry is thrilled to announce the success of the 2024 Business and Community Awards Gala, held on Saturday, September 21 at the Tartan Hall in Williamstown.

SDG COUNTIES, Ontario - Crews have begun installing fibre optic cable at a variety of locales throughout SDG Counties, with more work expected in the future, as a multitude of homes in our province become connected to high-speed Internet.
