Age-Friendly Community at a Glance
An Age-Friendly Community (AFC) puts people first no matter their age.
It designs parks, programs, streets, and services so everyone can stay active, connected, and safe.
The idea comes from the World Health Organization, which mapped eight key areas—from housing to social life—that help us age well.
