Recycling
The Township of South Glengarry is transitioning away from the Recycle Coach app.
Effective September 8, 2026, the Township of South Glengarry will no longer use the Recycle Coach app.
Residents are encouraged to download the free Circular Materials app to continue receiving recycling information directly on their mobile devices. Through the app, residents can:
- View their recycling collection schedule
- Sign up for collection reminders
- Receive recycling service alerts
- Find out which materials are accepted for recycling

- Missed recycling collections
- Replacement recycling bins
- Purchasing a new recycling bin

Single-Stream Recycling
Circular Materials uses a single-stream recycling system. This means recyclable materials can be placed together in the same recycling bin. The materials are collected and transported to a recycling facility, where they are sorted and processed.
Recycling Bins
Recycling bins can be purchased directly from Emterra Environmental. Residents may contact Emterra using the information above to arrange a purchase or inquire about replacing a damaged or missing bin.
Bins may also be purchased at the Township’s Main Office for $10 each, subject to availability.
