Recycling in South Glengarry is managed by Circular Materials a national not-for-profit organization committed to building an efficient and effective recycling system in Ontario. Learn more about the recycling program.

Curbside recycling collection takes place weekly on the same day as your garbage collection. To find your collection day, please view the Waste Management Calendar.

Emterra operates a single-stream recycling program, meaning all recyclables are collected in one bin and sorted and processed at the recycling facility.

Reminders:

• Residents are not required to sort their recycling. All recyclables can be placed in the same in the same bin.
• During winter months, please ensure looser paper and light materials remain in the recycle bin.
• Ensure your bins are placed curbside by 7am on your collection day.
• Flatten your carboard.

Recycling bins can be purchased through the Township’s recycling contractor, Emterra Group. Please contact Emterra directly to arrange a purchase or to make an inquiry:
