Water and Wastewater Reports

The Township of South Glengarry publishes annual reports on drinking water quality and wastewater treatment. These reports provide a transparent look at how our dedicated teams work to deliver clean, safe drinking water and responsibly treat wastewater to protect public health and the environment.

Every day, our staff work to ensure high-quality drinking water that meets or exceeds Ontario’s strict safety standards. Our drinking water systems use a series of filtration, treatment, monitoring, and backup systems to provide reliable, high-quality water to homes and businesses within our municipally serviced areas of Glen Walter, Lancaster, and Redwood Estates.

At the same time, our wastewater treatment staff work diligently to safeguard local waterways, using advanced biological, chemical, and physical processes at our modern treatment facilities to remove pollutants before safely returning treated water to the environment. These systems are found within Glen Walter, Lancaster, and Green Valley.

These reports are prepared in accordance with Ontario’s Safe Drinking Water Act and Environmental Compliance Approvals, ensuring we meet strict provincial regulations and uphold the highest water quality and wastewater treatment standards.
