The Municipal office will be closed on Monday, August 5, 2024, for the Civic Holiday and will re-open on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 8:30am with normal business hours.

The Township of South Glengarry competed a Water and Wastewater Servicing Master Plan for the Glen Walter area in 2022. Following up on the Master Plan's recommendations, the Township intends to proceed with design of a 1,600 m³ elevated water tank and watermain replacement/extension/looping.

On April 8, 2024 at approximately 3:24 pm, the Township of South Glengarry and surrounding municipalities will experience a once-in-a-lifetime event, a total solar eclipse. A narrow band, known as the "path of totality" will transit across our region,  as the moon completely blocks the sun and turns day into night for a little more than two minutes.
