Authorization Cards for Landfill Use
To help prevent unauthorized or commercial dumping, South Glengarry now requires Authorization Cards for anyone bringing waste to the landfill on behalf of a property owner.
Who Needs an Authorization Card?
If you are not the property owner (friends, family, neighbours, or helpers – non-commercial only), you must present an Authorization Card each time you visit the landfill.

- Up to 4 cards may be issued per visit.
Rules for Authorization Cards
- Transporter must show matching photo I.D. at the landfill.
- Waste must come from a South Glengarry residential property.
