Important Changes to South Glengarry Landfill Operations

Starting Monday, February 10, 2025, the following operational changes will take effect at all South Glengarry landfills:

Public access is limited to the regular landfill hours:

  • Thursday & Saturday ONLY
  • No exceptions

Waste Disposal Intake Form will now be required for:

  • Any waste transported in a vehicle larger than a passenger vehicle (car, van, or ½-tonne pickup)
  • Waste transported by a third party

The Township of South Glengarry cannot accept waste generated outside of South Glengarry.

  • Any waste from outside the township will be refused.
  • The waste generator will need to make alternative arrangements.

These changes are being implemented to comply with Environmental Compliance Approvals and to preserve landfill capacity for South Glengarry residents.
