Municipal Office Closure – Victoria Day

Please be advised that our Municipal Office will be closed on Monday, May 19 for the Victoria Day holiday.

Garbage and Recycling collection will be delayed by one day next week.
For example, if your regular pickup is Monday, it will be moved to Tuesday.

We will reopen on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. to serve you.

On behalf of Council and Staff, we wish everyone a safe and relaxing long weekend!

Gravel Roads Maintenance

Starting Tuesday, May 20th, the Township will begin granular overlay work on the gravel roads west of County Road 34. Crews will start in the south end and work their way north, with the project expected to take a couple of weeks to complete. Please drive with caution in active work areas and watch for workers and equipment. We appreciate your patience and cooperation! Thank you!

Large Item Collection A special roadside pickup for large items is scheduled on your regular collection day during the week of May 26. Weed Control Spraying in South Glengarry

⚠️ Roadside Spraying Notice – May 7 to June 6, 2025
Weather Permitting

The United Counties of SDG will be conducting roadside spraying to manage noxious weeds in South Glengarry between May 7 and June 6, 2025.

Spraying will take place:

From the edge of gravel shoulders to within 1 metre of property lines
On County Roads 2, 18, 19, 19A, 20, 23, 25, 26, and 27, plus various local roads
